The new and first app from Skype, Skype Qik - to be read as "quick" - is a messaging app primarily focused on group and video.
When first found this app, I thought that using this app I can do something like video conference together, but actually it's not. Skype Qik is another SnapChat-like app, but instead of sending images or photos, Skype Qik is sending videos to your group.
When your friends send you video, you can give thumbs-ups, smiley and more. What's great is you can create and record your own smiley using your own face or anything else you like.
The interface is simple and gorgeous. Instead of showing your group in list like most messaging app do, Skype Qik is showing them still on a list but nicer.
Skype Qik also has the capability similar to SnapChat, where you can delete your videos and the videos will be also disappear from groups.
Skype Qik also removes your more-than-2-week messages.
Current version 1.2.74 requires iOS 7.0 or later. Compatible with the following iOS devices:
